(LaCinetek)

The Marx Brothers, and it doesn't matter at all that there are only three of them here, are simply masters and Groucho in particular is an unbelievable chatterbox. What comes out of him is truly incredible. The film is very much like a cabaret performance, as it is strongly interspersed with actual opera and singing, or playing musical instruments. Despite its inconsistency, however, the film holds together wonderfully. ()
