Greta's Guide to the Galaxy

Greta wants to live life as freely as possible. She's moved all the way across the US away from her dysfunctional family in Noorwood, Massachusetts to Olympia, Washington. A move that is a flight from a mother who at times tries to drink herself to death, to a life in an open relationship with her life companion, the musician Matt. The filmmaker Astrid Askberger has followed the singer and multitalent Greta for 14 years, and carefully portrays her change, atonement and how she struggles to find and maintain her freedom. Greta's Guide to the Galaxy is a delicate film about a woman's search for her own rules to life. (Göteborg Film Festival)
