Résumés(1)

Gigantic spacial structures and microscopic human structures operate on a complex mechanical basis which can be charted, stimulated and anticipated. That is the presupposition of this film about supercomputers, in which scientific innovations are presented along with challenging and potentially beneficial visions for society. For example, even though astrophysics is primarily an observational field of science, professionals in the film explain its capacity for directed space process replications. Furthermore, they explain the benefits for molecular dynamics – namely the simulation of a physical atom and molecular behaviour. The simulation reveals the diversity of human biology and genetics which might lead to more individualized approaches to medical treatment and an overall revolution in medicine. Digital imitation of natural phenomena becomes a means of progress in many scientific activities, from nanotechnologies to the study of supernovas. (Academia Film Olomouc)
