Résumés(1)

The critical, at times hilarious documentary Losing it follows the Finnish representative in the European Parliament Pertti Paasio during his daily pursuits. The occasion was a trivial one: the filmmaker wanted to find out how it is possible that people often lose a sock. A transmitter is applied to Paasio's sock, as well as to the socks of two fighters for better housing in Brussels. While the filmmaker is looking for the lost sock, Paasio is primarily busy with supervising the construction of a Finnish sauna in the Parliament building. When he submits a proposal with respect to sugar import, the parliament speaks of it in the highest terms. However, nobody has read the proposal; a translation of the Finnish document has not been distributed. Meanwhile, the two homeless activist try to get beyond the bureaucratic door of the Parliament. All they meet with is contempt. (YLE)
