Tino is a thirty-year-old punk. He lives on the streets of Helsinki and makes some money now and then as a fire-eater. Through his lifestyle he wants to react against the smug society as much as possible. Not surprisingly, he looks like a walking nightmare to many people: almost toothless, his face full of scars, his body adorned by tattoos, and his bald head bedecked with a Mohawk haircut. Filmmaker Tahvo Hirvonen wanted to look behind Tino's fierce mask. A much more human creature is hiding there: Tino the artist and the clown, Tino who during the summer months works on the land and tends a herd of cows. It is over here that his more tender and vulnerable sides come out. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
