Detectorists - Season 1

All right, I'm probably getting soft since I rated the first season as above average despite the story unfolding at a pace that would make a turtle seem like a sprinter. I seemed to have turned off my usual cynical mode, so I have no choice but to admit that the first season had a peculiar charm. Even though almost nothing happened in it, it was sustained by well-written and well-cast characters. Especially Becky was great. (30/03/2020)
