Only yesterday, ambitious aircraft designer and womanizer Yuri Gordeyev was just a step away from triumph. His plane, the YUG-1, was on course to become a real milestone in Russian aviation history. Today, however, he's nowhere to be found, and his business rival swiftly shuts the company down. It emerges that Yuri died in an air accident, and is now a ghost. Meanwhile, 8th grader Vanya Kuznetsov has always been a complete nobody. The victim of his mother's doting and object of ridicule among his classmates, he doesn't even dare speak to the girl of his dreams.
