anglais Japan can surprise sometimes, and this is one of those cases. Prophecy is an interesting and rather original thriller about a mysterious group of people who wear a newspaper mask and use YouTube to draw attention to crimes that haven't happened yet, but are about to. This doesn't sit well with the police department cyber crime unit, and the chief inspector is trying to get to the bottom of the case. Nice cinematography, nice idea, decent actors, and some decent cop shenanigans. The suspense works too and I liked the thoughtfulness of the story, but I'm a bit disappointed with the last half hour, which goes in a not very interesting direction, I would have liked the denouement to be a bit more intense, but still a remarkable film. Story****, Action***, Humor>No, Violence***, Entertainment****, Music***, Visual****, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 7/10. ()

anglais I have to admit, I loved it. A bunch of wonderful actors. A camera that knew when to be what. And the story. Its denouement, when it finally becomes clear that sometimes less is more. That's the kind of story I love. From the previews it looks exactly how the boys wanted it to look. I basically had the same good feeling I had felt after watching Library War. They're not gems, but they suited me perfectly and managed to impress me and play with my emotions, whether joy or sadness. Simply all five thumbs up. ()
