anglais Maybe the new version of Mowgli came out too soon, but I'm still surprisingly satisfied. The Jungle Book is unbeatable, at least visually, the animals here didn't please my eye too much and the tiger is downright repulsive, but I liked the fact that this version is conceived differently and I find it much more faithful to the source material. Rohan Chand plays the main character impeccably and the whole thing is much darker to creepier, and a plus for the hyena, who wasn't in The Jungle Book. Suspenseful, brisk, entertaining. I enjoyed it. 75% ()

anglais The technical aspect is considerably weaker than that of Favreau's rival fairytale version, but the more mature approach is welcome. Severed heads and emotions can be wrung out by the gallon. ()
