Résumés(1)
Győző is a 38-year-old insurance agent. At a playground, he gets acquainted with the 40 year old Vajda Gábor, left by his wife, and with a career as an opera singer in pieces. Their discussion recalls their childhood, the 1950s, when both wanted to be "Victors" (Győző). The adult Győző, with the proper size and dimensions of a grown-up, is suddenly back in childhood again, and his father takes the shape of Vajda Gábor. Győző is fed spinach and his "mother" - Gábor's unfaithful wife - takes him to the Zoo. They live in a block of flats, his father gets imprisoned, while mother is proud of her escalating career as a party worker. During the shoot-out, in 1956, the "child" Győző hides his "mother" in the bedding box. The grotesque historical self-examination is closed by a circle dance, when the women of both (apparently equally immature) generations call out: Be tough, Győző! (texte officiel du distributeur)
