In the early years of the 20th century, two climbers make traditional ascent, carrying a statue of Virgin Mary to the top of a mountain. Their meritorious task soon spins out of control and the climbers need to fight for survival. The ascent turns into an absurd drama stricken not only by bad luck but also by the Higher Will. The film, created in realist style by Computer-generated imagery (CGI), skilfully combines serious theme with grotesque realization. (Anifilm)
