The by-now-already cult mid-length flick from the Founder Movies collective proudly displays its pedigree. It was conceived by a group of enthusiasts during a steamy act of love for memories of B-movie actioners from the remote shelves video store long lost in time. While the screen assaults the viewer with shots of stern-looking manly faces and pompous gunfights, the soundtrack is dominated by pumping 80s hits and brilliantly corny one-liners and absurdly twisted dialogues inspired by low-cost Czech dubs. Let’s barbecue! (The Shockproof Film Festival)
