Over the course of 90 riveting minutes, Tyson opens up about his troubled Brooklyn youth, landmark boxing career, key influences in his life, personal and professional controversies, time in prison, loss of family members and, most recently, his rehabilitation and redemption, forged by sobriety and a renewed commitment to family life. Who doesn’t know Mike Tyson? When we were just children, we heard the story of how he bit off his opponent’s ear in the ring. However, this 83 minutes long stand-up sketch is quite different as it beautifully opens up the way into Mike Tyson’s soul. The best thing about it is that he laughs at his mistakes. He admits them, laughs at them and hopes that his future will be completely different. At times I laughed, at times I just stared at the conditions Mike lived in. And it was worth it.

Who would have thought that this guy, who became famous in the ring and was a real aggressive jerk, would ultimately become famous as a stand-up comedian? It sounds a bit cliché, especially when you think of the film "Raging Bull," but mainly of the boxer LaMotta, who also made a living as a stand-up comedian in the end. True, he had his own club where he tried to make it somehow. Mike Tyson is good at this from an international perspective. It's mainly because he is able to look at himself and what he did with perspective and is capable of making fun of himself. I hope he doesn't mess it up again somehow.
