The Return of Joe Rich

The economy is in the toilet and Joe is down in the dumps. It's one thing after another. When his job is outsourced to India, his mortgage rate is spiked and his old lady takes off Joe decides it's time to head home to Chicago where at least his Uncle Dominic is connected. Failing everything else Joe naively figures he can join The Outfit not yet realising the disconnection between his adolescent fantasies of Rat Pack wise guy posturing and the brutal realities of the mafia. Intercutting real life testimonies from retired mobsters who lived the life during previous eras of economic crises, The Return of Joe Rich explores the myths of self-made men, the harsher lessons of grafting in a free market and getting ahead and influencing others in America.
