At times, I had a feeling that the author was inspired by Lynch's "Lost Highway", but it rather follows the current trend of violent dramas that are experiencing something like a boom. It is properly raw, it has a quite interesting protagonist who would fit perfectly even in "Sin City", but I would probably like a more extensive story with it.
