"The Monkey's Paw" is not a very successful film, that's just the way it is. It tries to be interesting, to captivate you, but what happens has its own flawed logic that doesn't make much sense. I miss some real motivation from the characters. What they do, why they do it, it seems difficult to grasp and hard to believe. Stephen Lang has a good character, but even his actions are not remarkably justified. It's simply an attempt to use a terrifying artifact that didn't work out. ()
