A naive man smuggles drugs from Thailand back to Australia inside of himself. When he's caught at customs, Ray refuses to "release" the evidence or admit he's even carrying any drugs, so he's taken into custody until he talks or defecates.
Ray Jenkins is a nice, kind guy who's just a little too naive for his own good. When Ray's longtime buddy, Gavin, pitches him the idea of smuggling drugs for some quick cash, Ray reluctantly agrees to do it, swallows quite a few bags of narcotics and attempts to fly back home to Australia, waltz through customs and collect his earnings. Trouble is, Ray loses his cool and gets nabbed by the Australian Federal Police before he can make it out the door. When Ray refuses to come clean and tell the cops what's floating around in his belly, they make it so he has to by confining Ray to a hotel room and monitoring him around the clock until he can't bear to hold in his secret anymore. anglais An interesting and rather wacky idea about a strange main character who smuggles drugs from Thailand to Australia, but once caught refuses to confess, is kept in a room under constant surveillance and also won't take a shit at any cost. Hugo Weaving is solid as the detective and it flows along at a fairly decent pace with a surprising finale. Entertaining, but rather one-note. 6/10: ()

anglais Angus Sampson is totally uncharismatic and he’s really psychologically difficult to get used to. I must admit that I had a huge problem with it. But as soon as he finished enjoying himself in Thailand and went home bellyful of heroin, it started to be really fun. Not only did I get familiar with a few Australian laws I’ll probably never put to any use, but I was also introduced to a new way of livelihood and a few corrupted cops who added the movie some proper swinish atmosphere. If it weren’t for them, Angus would get a single star for that cramped stomach, but they made it fairly fun and overall, it even resulted in a decent ending that I even predicted. ()

anglais For a film about not fucking up for several days, it is surprisingly interesting and managed to hold my attention the whole time. Truly excellent cast, although apart from the main protagonist, the characters are a bit cliché and it's clear how they will behave. However, the overall progression is well done and the scene where it eventually goes outside is really disgustingly fantastic. ()
