Sanitarium

"Sanitarium" is better than a good short horror film. I have to say that I was a little afraid that the presence of Malcolm McDowell, who is the main character of the framing story, would automatically lead to the film being a cliché without any idea, but that definitely cannot be said in this case. The short stories have an idea, sometimes just a simple one, but they used it quite well. I'm glad that after a long time, there is something here that doesn't try to shock unnecessarily and ostentatiously, but rather goes its own way, to the benefit of the whole thing. (17/11/2013)
