A beautiful example of how when a person wants, when they have the will, they can resist even the most wicked blows of fate. After a car accident, he was written off as an athlete, but he wanted to get back, he wanted to run again. I like that this movie doesn't shy away from even the truly horrible information and presents it calmly to the viewer. It is harsh, but all the more powerful.
