anglais They followed the template to a tee. Imagine the most schematic outline of exorcist horror and you’ll have Devil Seed, without needing to add anything else. They didn’t have the budget for a premium look and good actors, and originality and experiments must be to the creators what a cross is to a vampire. Nevertheless, that template is still quite effective and the creators are sufficiently competent, so, within the scope of “Canadian low-budget horror B-movies”, I’m quite satisfied. To me, it fits perfectly in the category “won’t take your breath away but won’t offend you, either”, which, after the awful trailer that made me want to avoid it, it’s a pleasant surprise. 5/10 ()
