Even though the plot is peculiar and there is nothing particularly unexpected in it, I still can't help it. "The Resurrection of Dr. Phibes" is still a good movie to me, capable of evoking interesting emotions in the viewer, which may not necessarily be fear, but rather unpleasant feelings due to the inevitability of death portrayed here, the feeling that no one can escape their fate. Those aspects are also present in the theatrical masks.
