The story of three old friends who find themselves fighting with each other when their lost friend's will is open to reveal his ultimate betting game. Nacho, Santi, Diego and Victor, now in their late 30s, have been friends since childhood. When they were young they used to test their friendship through peculiar bets which ended breaking their group. Nacho was barred from the gang after a really nasty situation took place. Nacho dies and he will try to test his old friends again. Whomever appears more on TV will win his fortune. A nice sum of 17 million euros. (texte officiel du distributeur)

Défi cinéma en situation de confinement n°2 – exploration du cinéma mondial : l’Espagne. J'ai dû incorporer un peu de comédie dans mon défi histoire de regarder autre chose que des drames déchirants. J'attendais et espérais beaucoup d'Amigos…, mais au final, je suis assez déçu. Malheureusement, c'est souvent comme ça : on se réjouit excessivement et les choses se révèlent autrement que prévu. Pour moi, ce n’était pas assez drôle et ça m’a vaguement fait penser à Tag, une comédie américaine pas terrible. Au moins, une belle poupée espagnole y faisait son apparition de temps en temps.

I haven’t seen a comedy this good in a really long time. Every time when another brutal scene was approaching, I was waiting for it to come. And it always did. The movie is full of amazing ideas and simply flawless scenes. The Spanish have really showed off. Not that they’ve done it for the first time, but I have to say I really did not expect this movie to be so amazing. The very first scene with the soccer fans already hinted at how brutal this was going to be. I hope this movie becomes more widely known, because it would really deserve it.
