Anne (37) has given up finding a man, who will fit in to her sensible and controlled life. She has therefore decided to get inseminated with a carefully selected sperm donor. But as her hormones get the better of her she realizes that the child may come to resemble the father and possibly get his less flattering characteristics. Anne feels compelled to find the sperm donor and ensure that he is as perfect as she imagines. She begins to stalk him and slowly but surely she gets involved in his life and finds out that he is far from her idea of a perfect man. Against all odds chemistry occurs between them and Anne has to decide between being in control of her life or letting go and see what love brings.

anglais It's a pretty out-there movie about a woman who wants a child but doesn't have a partner, so she undergoes artificial insemination. However, she starts to wonder about the donor and, in her search, encounters a scoundrel she unexpectedly falls in love with. Nikolaj Lie Kaas convinced me in just ninety minutes that he might have comedy in his blood, the way he brilliantly portrayed the potential father. And until now, I could hardly imagine him as anything other than a brooding and grumpy cop. Lene Maria Christensen in the lead role was also good. They were a bit of a mismatched pair, but opposites attract, and this was doubly true here. I was entertained for almost the entire duration, and that's what I value most in comedies. ()

anglais The Scandinavians decided to tackle a traditional entertaining theme, which – if approached in the right way – cannot fail. The only thing that is a pity is that Nikolaj Lie Kass’ character in this one is so terribly unbalanced because otherwise the movie would have been the true bomb. The actresses in this one are incredibly beautiful and they are headed by the most beautiful one of them all – Lene Maria Christensen. However, Nikolaj decided to approach it as a bad ass, so at one moment his character looks like he couldn’t count to five, and at the next one he behaves like an introvert nuclear physicist. It’s been a long time since my sympathies for the protagonist wavered so hard according to his irrational behavior. ()
