I could tell the creators were trying to inject more drama into the story. However, I'm starting to worry that they might not be able to turn it into a thriller. They should have committed to either comedy or a serious tone from the start. Right now, it's lacking enough humor for me (except for some cheesy jokes), yet it also lacks the necessary tension, which leaves me in a bit of a mixed bag.
