The movie Rekvalifikace (Retraining) surveys a man past his fifties who, not by his own fault, lost his job and looks for a new one. The story of Mr Zrzavy is based on extraordinary experiences of ordinary people. It accounts of thousands of middle-life experts who lost their jobs due to circumstances. This somewhat absurd adventure of unemployed Mr Zrzavy blends with a story of men from the opposite side of the society. Oskar and Zorz, two mobsters, are at the peak of enjoying the life's pleasures. They've got the dough. Is there anything they can't afford? To find out, watch this movie full of absurdness, paradoxes and humor. (texte officiel du distributeur)

anglais Exactly the reason why Czech films have not been worth much lately. Terrible story, terrible acting performances, and above all, humor that completely lacks the essential - humor itself. An unfunny film that occasionally tries to achieve some social critique but simply fails because there are moments when it's unbearable to watch. ()
