anglais This is part of the "Hellraiser" series, or not, because this film will not impress anyone. Neither a horror fan nor a die-hard fan of the series. This is a step aside and it is simply too visible how it will end when a film studio engages in something out of necessity and vanity, instead of selling the rights instead. ()

anglais This new Pinhead is ridiculous, but those few shots with the new cenobites weren't that bad. The plot itself could have been decent, and as a shorter story it could have actually been very good, but... the execution is just odd. The cameraman should find out what a tripod is and start from scratch. The actors should undergo at least a couple of years of TV work and the writer should think about what dramatic gradation is and he and the director should watch all eight previous films at least 5 times so they know what the franchise is all about. Skin regeneration is fine, but you have to know what to do with it. I'm not disgusted or offended by the film, but I really do hope the next planned remake is at least a little better. This is the order in which I like the films overall: Hellraiser 8, Hellraiser 5, Hellraiser 4, Hellraiser 7, Hellraiser 2, Hellraiser 6, Hellraiser 1, Hellraiser 3, Hellraiser 9. ()
