anglais I don’t know if it’s me, but lately I’ve quite often come across American independent comedies which have tried to focus on something specifically unusual and stick to it tooth and nail. I have probably never heard of a competition in which participants fight over who can create a nicer butter sculpture. And I don’t even know if I’ll ever see anything like that again, but I have to admit that I haven’t seen so many likeable characters in a movie in a long time. ()

anglais When I first heard about the movie "Butter", it's already been a few months, I knew right away that this is exactly the type of film that interests me. A naive comedy that deals with a crazy enough topic to capture attention. Moreover, it has a great cast. Jennifer Garner and Olivia Wilde guarantee that there will be plenty of beauty, and they are also complemented by Alicia Silverstone and Ashley Greene. And on top of that, Hugh Jackman in a beautiful little role that suits him perfectly. And all of this in a story about butter sculptures. I know it's crazy, that the theme is absolutely silly, and deliberately taken very seriously, but that's exactly why I like such films. Something like the movie "Ready to Rumble". Simply a film that 95% of the population will not be interested in because it's basically about nothing, but I like such stories. They are beautifully strange in their own way and that's what makes them beautiful. They can be funny, they can be touching, and that's what I like. It's not great art, they don't pretend to be something they're not, but they try to offer entertainment to the viewers that at least for a moment makes them think about something quite nice. Even though there are always problems around us, they can be somehow solved. We can still believe that love is all around us.
