DC Showcase: The Spectre

The Spectre is another cool dark hooded protector character, of which there have been many. Yet the fact that his stories are cut into noir and it's all so pleasantly old-school makes it easy to give him a chance. (26/11/2012)

Definitely the best of the short films included under the "DC Showcase" project. The story that unfolds here isn't particularly original, nor is the twist great, but the fact that it has a truly eerie atmosphere at times really got to me. I wasn't expecting this, so it pleasantly surprised me. (16/01/2017)
