I think parody is one of the hardest genres, because avoiding going into cringe territory when making fun of something can be an impossible task for many creators. Spanish Movie manages to fulfil this requirement for a parody. The jokes are not brilliant, but it’s still decent fun if you are familiar with the films they spoof: from The Sea Inside, through The Orphanage and REC, to Pan's Labyrinth.
