My Movie Project

When I went to the cinema for this film, I told myself that it probably wouldn't be good, that something would be wrong with it. People talked a lot about it, which means that they went to see it a lot, but still I thought that a comedy anthology film, especially with a Czech title that is not suitable for young people, just didn't feel right. I immediately found out why. The creators of this film were given the opportunity to take risks, and so they did. When I say that not only the Farrelly brothers were involved in the production of the film, but also their creative abilities, it is clear that it cannot be normal. But it is an anthology film, so let's start gradually. The framework for the story is about three boys who are searching for a mysterious film called "Movie 43" on the internet, which is supposed to be the scariest thing anyone has ever seen. It is a joke cooked up by two boys against the youngest, which turns into a literal fight for their lives. Meanwhile, as they search for the film in various mysterious corners of the internet, different films pop up that we, the viewers, are forced to watch. The first one is "The Catch." Kate Winslet goes on a blind date with Hugh Jackman, who has testicles hanging from his neck. Haha, very funny. She is quite disturbed by it, but no one else cares. That's the whole plot. The second short film is "Homeschooled." Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are very strict parents. Funny at first, then boring and most importantly, no point. Just like in the previous story. Anna Farris, in "The Proposition," asks her husband (both in the movie and in real life) Chris Pratt to poop on her. Because she only poops on whores. I'm taking the language from the movie. A little laxative, lots of farts, and a pile of crap, and voila, we have a classic American comedy. Kieran Culkin and Emma Stone showcase in the story "Veronica" how love can be crazy sometimes and how things can get wild. Quite funny, mainly because it's based solely on dialogue and how those two behave towards each other and how they pretend. Fast, non-forced, will do. "iBabe" is an interesting parody of the iPod. iBabe is a player in the shape of a naked woman. It has one significant problem, of course, besides the fact that it is a player in the shape of a naked woman. It has a fan in its vagina, which is a problem for horny high school boys. "Superhero Speed Dating" introduces us to Robin, who goes to a restaurant for speed dating. Batman crashes the date a bit, but thanks to my favorite comedic actors (Justin Long and Jason Sudeikis), it is tolerable. Moreover, this is a parody that, if refined a bit, is exactly in the style of making fun of comic book mainstream. Someone who doesn't know comics well won't say anything, some jokes are not universal. "Not Suitable for Youth" contains two commercials - "Machine Kids" and "Tampax". Short tasteless sketches that would not be missed if they weren't there. One can get sick of such sketches. The best story for me is "Middleschool Date" with Chloë Grace Moretz. Yes, she is my favorite, but Elizabeth Banks, who is responsible for this story, simply made a funny piece where the first menstruation is addressed. It's funny and it's good. If I only saw this short film, I would give it about 70%, but no short film can save the whole film. "Happy Birthday" is a terrible story with Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville. The latter kidnaps a leprechaun with Gerard Butler's face to compensate the former for sleeping with his girlfriend. But only once, for a whole week. The girlfriend was excited to see the film because Gerard was in it. She was very disappointed. "Truth or Dare" shows that someone who knows how to make a film directed it, but Peter Farrelly completely killed the potential that this story had. Funny, funny, until it becomes complete idiocy. In "Victory's Glory," we learn that black people win over white people in basketball because they are black. And that they have thirty-five-centimeter members. And finally, "Beezel." Elizabeth Banks plays a wife who is threatened by an animated cat who is in love with her husband, Josh Duhamel. James Gunn is in great form. "Beezel" and "Middleschool Date" are the only two stories that I will remember and want to remember. Too little for such a film.
