Inšite miru

A huge disappointment. For having Horipro's biggest stars in it, the script is weak (Liar Game and Battle Royale are a thousand times better). Nothing new, anywhere (music, characters, acting). Nothing here, nothing there. It wasn't even "challenging" for your brain – you don't have to wonder why, how, who. You’re lured in at the beginning and then abysmally disappointed. Besides, I don't like Ayase (those performances of hers – except in Hikari, maybe! Ichi – they're all the same in the end – especially in terms of their expressions). I could liken this 50th birthday "present" to a garish pink button-down sweater. You get it, you smile at the giver, and you throw it away. (26/10/2011)
