anglais While the famous double version starring Anny Ondra preferred the story of the maid, Adele, six years later the main character of The Bat was Rosalind, this time played by Lída Baarová. The magnificent Baarová was by this time already at home in German cinema, which is why her partnership with Hans Söhnker and others is very pleasant. A viewer familiar with operetta will be delighted with this modern version, which is all about taking the essentials from "The Bat" and, within the logic of the dream, shaking the best out of it for the modern day. There is therefore nothing more natural than to let a philandering man be outwitted by a fake affair. And of course, hand on heart, the greatest star among all of them is the perfect comedian Hans Moser with his drunken etudes on the theme - if he sings one more time, then I’ll have another drink. :D ()
