8 candidats ont atteint le dernier stade de sélection pour rejoindre une mystérieuse, mais très puissante entreprise. Réunis dans une salle d'examen ils ont 80 minutes pour répondre à une simple question. 3 règles sont à respecter pour ne pas être disqualifié : ne pas parler au surveillant, ne pas gaspiller leur feuille et ne pas sortir de la salle. I always look forward to films with a premise like this and they rarely disappoint, almost all of them manage to exploit the topic in at least some of their runtime. Exam wasn’t any different, the first half hour is a lot of fun, the characters behave like I would in a similar situation, and their ideas make sense. But then things fall apart when the film takes a very contrived path only in order to be be more a thriller than an entertaining drama. A great thriller with sophisticated character psychology? Maybe the first 30 minutes, after that, not even close.

Une expérience que je trouve clairement intéressante. On y trouve un ou deux acteurs célèbres, une dernière partie quelque peu maladroite et un dénouement encore plus maladroit.
