A stalwart participant in every major World War II battle in the Pacific Ocean, the USS Enterprise served as the keystone craft in the navy's complex air and sea maneuvers. BATTLE 360 chronicles the aircraft carrier's remarkable voyages, from initial deployment to final conflict. Combining actual footage with dramatic, computer-animated recreations and historical analyses, each episode offers an in-depth exploration into the Enterprise's heroic actions. anglais In the end, the documentary series is much better than, for example, the recently released Dogfights, i.e., is less patriotic, pathetic, and tendentious, but it clearly conveys a deep conviction that Americans have better weapons, soldiers, training, technology, and certainly also brains and balls throughout the entire cycle. I am already somewhat allergic to this emotionally biased style. Overall impression: 55%. ()
