(Canal+)

anglais Jules is so perfectly insane!... I hate to rate and review comedies since we all have a different sense of humor. Here I particularly appreciate the nice tempo and style. But most of all, I love it when the nervous Jules shoots finger guns at men. Plus, I like all the main characters – which doesn't happen that often. I could even handle 30 minutes. 4.5 stars. Favorite characters: Jules and Laurie ()

anglais A series caught somewhere between Sex and the City and a sitcom from the world of women with some light borrowing from Californication. It has a pleasant cast, Courteney Cox is rightly included among the least attractive and most sympathetic celebrities in the world, and it also has quite functional humor, so I'm not surprised by the high rating of the series; however, I found the whole thing too artificial. A woman who has just gone through a divorce and has spent many years burdened by a husband who is good for nothing should have, according to my life experience, different concerns than sweeping bars and chasing young men who only slightly exceed the age of her son going through puberty. In this episode, the women are perfect, without wrinkles and real concerns, with a huge bust and enhanced by a series of plastic surgeries - simply a classic dream factory. I lasted three episodes, then I was overcome by boredom. Overall impression: 45%. ()

anglais No matter how the first few episodes tried to convince me that it would primarily be about complaining about age and chasing younger people, Bill Lawrence eventually couldn't resist and returned to where he is best. To the waters of romantic-melancholic relationships, where the absurd humor of Scrubs, utilizing all possible human weaknesses and flattery, has the foremost place. Writing characters that are perfectly crazy and yet close like this truly requires skill. And although it seemed several times that in the attempt to eventually give up on a coherent plot, the scripts would fall apart into family-crazy episodes, the quality remained consistently higher during those six seasons than in the very beginning. An inexplicable phenomenon of a TV series and universal optimism in a twenty-minute package. ()
