anglais It doesn't make sense to say that Fatty wasn't up to it. Personally, I like him even more than Frigo, but first and foremost The Butcher Boy is just great. It's got that classic Fatty romance, Fatty the genius solitaire butcher, then that great molasses scene and, of course, the battle throughout the shop. If you can still laugh and your diaphragm doesn't ache, you will spend the whole second half in a boarding house for troubled girls and Fatty with a bow in his hair and on his dress. That's all I need to be happy. ()

anglais Buster Keaton's debut, so I thought let's see how the little bark in Fatty Arbuckle's slapstick got. I was surprised to find, however, that the barking is pretty great, and Keaton does some very good things during the shop fight and the final run through the girls' dorm. But I don't want to be unfair to Fatty, because he also has some good moments in the film, but especially in the first half (carelessly throwing meat on the hook or knives on the table), the second half is not so good.
