anglais Outrageous, but outrageous crap. If it weren't for Jiří Lábus and Oldřich Kaiser, Revue na zakázku would probably be just another of Zdeněk Podskalský's controversial films made in the last decade of his life. But thanks to the "Kailábists", something was created... Something indescribable. The result can be compared to the much more crazy Blockbuster or even better (or worse) to Hodinářova svatební cesta korálovým mořem. Yes, we're watching a couple of comedians sent to Kazakhstan to organize a big ice revue, yes, there are characters like the plucky Kazakh deputy, and yes, it's full of displays of skill by Eastern comrades (whether they're riding horses or skating)... But Kaiser and Lábus comment on it all so irresistibly and hilariously! Anyone who likes their typical humor should not miss this film, which I don't think is taken seriously for even a second. ()
