Half-broken Music Box

All right, why not give it 5 stars? It has a good story for 28 minutes and I liked the animation, too; it wasn't full of pathos or saccharine, it knew how to make an impression. Plus, it floated right along with the mood I was in, so my rating is affected by that too. It's a bit sad; if you're "depressed", it's very sad. It won't sweeten your life, but it knows how to caress your soul; that is, if you're in the right frame of mind. (19/06/2010)

To be able to cram such a brilliant bittersweet story into thirty minutes is a real accomplishment! It is narrated by the adorable Flower, and so I found I was smiling from ear to ear, and the way it all played out was very moving... In other words, I found it quite beautiful, and very soon I realized that imperfection is actually an endearing quality, because nothing lasts forever, and solitude is... Those thirty minutes gave me a lot to think about, more than a lot of movies with a much longer running time. 8.5/10. (21/06/2020)
