Bohoušův syn

A sequel which, in my opinion, lacks much of the magic of the Bohouš atmosphere. The cadence of the jokes is not nearly as stunning, and the film, which is twenty minutes longer than the "first part", felt rather drawn out to me (especially the final ten minutes). The actors were of course good (what else do you expect from such a likeable cast?), and so was Filip's direction... But I simply can't imagine that I would look at Bohoušův syn as fondly and as often as I look at its father. (05/11/2011)
