anglais Salvador Dalí, Luis Buñuel, and Federico García Lorca. Of these three, the last one will probably tell you the least, but he is actually the main character of the film "Little Ashes", which is the Czech name of one of the early paintings by the aforementioned brilliant surrealist and peculiar person Salvador Dalí. Luis Buñuel is, of course, one of the most acclaimed European directors who was well acquainted with both men. In fact, he even directed the first film that made Salvador famous. It was, of course, the renowned "Un Chien Andalou", a short film that both shocked and captivated audiences. So who is García Lorca? For literature enthusiasts, I probably don't need to say, but he was a poet whose fate can be called nothing less than tragic. However, during that time in Spain, many people had a similar fate. Perhaps that is why Luis Buñuel spent most of his life creating films outside of his homeland and in other parts of the world. The film introduces us to how this trio met during their studies, what influence Dalí had on García Lorca, and what the painter meant to his life. Yes, García Lorca was in love with Dalí. His feelings were never reciprocated in the way he wanted, but they did have a bond that was quickly severed. The strongest aspect of the film is its ending, which is also the only reason to watch this movie. It's nice that Pattinson is in it, but the reason for his casting as Salvador Dalí cannot be explained. Of course, except that the actor was able to attract at least 50% of the viewers to the film. It's a shame that the film didn't try to be more controversial, more naturalistic, or even more surrealistic - that would have been intriguing. As it is, it just tells an uninteresting story about three great figures. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2013/01/little-ashes-nezapomen-na-me-butter.html ()
