Biographie

He has a distinguished track record as a filmmaker. His first feature film, Solomon and Gaenor (1999), was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and his second effort, Wondrous Oblivion (2003), was released widely across the U.K. to much critical acclaim and awards, including the audience award for best feature film at the Boston Jewish Film Festival. His other work as a director for television includes Unstable Elements (1988) From Bitter Earth (1989), Without Walls: The Night Show – A Midsummer Night’s Scream (1994), Degas and Pissaro Fall Out (1994).
