Brian Stimpson, headmaster, runs his school, as he runs his life, by the clock - until one little slip destroyed his schedule and turned one of the most important days of his life into a disaster. By the end of the day he is wanted by the police for kidnapping, car theft, vandalism and impersonating a monk and all because he went right instead of left! (texte officiel du distributeur)

anglais I've never made a secret of the fact that I have a soft spot for Monty Python, which is doubly true for John Cleese. He must have been born to play various directors, lawyers and officials. That's why I assumed I would have a great time, but I was in for an unpleasant surprise. I enjoyed the main plot and the first third of the film, but then something went wrong. The pace got stuck in the mud just like the blue Morris 1100, the fast-paced comedy got worn-out and the fun died on the vine. I'm giving this a third star just because of the lead actor and because I saw a much younger version of Penelope Wilton than I'm used to. ()
