The story is about two refugees, a fifteen year old Somalian boy (Ali) and a forty-year old Iranian man (Massoud) who after two years of waiting for a residence permit escape from the asylum camp. We follow them on the run through Sweden and the film also describes the relationship between the two characters and also their relations with Sweden and with the people they meet there. Even though the refugee topic is relevant in all of Europe, the film is not primarily a political comment, but instead a story about friendship and love. (Sonet Film)

Quelque chose comme Svěrákova Jízda, mais plus animal, plus chaotique, plus sincère, plus ouvert et plus émotionnel. Avec de belles performances d'acteurs sensibles et dévoués. Je n'avais pas vu une caméra et un montage aussi connectés aux émotions des personnages depuis longtemps (beaucoup de détails sur les visages). Une très agréable surprise, qui n'a pas besoin de jouer l'"art" et parle au public dans un langage universel.
