For the first few minutes I once again had the feeling that this was really too much, and in the end I left the movie theater again after those few hours satisfied, laughing, and finally feeling like I could handle another hour or so. ;) Salman and Govinda are an incredible duo, Katrina was still pretty much only decorative, but "Maria" Lara Dutta balanced this disparity perfectly. The role of the Love Guru is a fantastic showcase of Salman's exhibitionism, or rather, I absolutely couldn't keep up, as literally in every scene he had a new model, hairstyle, toy (a scooter, convertible, or just a motorcycle) or at least glasses. ;) Govinda was a bit soberer in this regard, though his determined pursuit of love was over the top. It’s too bad about the pathetic mafioso Don because even the little persistent rambunctious kid was better. Thanks to him I had my first look at the Indian cinema hall, which was also worth it. Simply put, my horizon of how a spectacularly entertaining film can be made has expanded again. Therefore, I really don't have to wonder where Prem's sister and her family went in the middle of the story, but I can enjoy the double honeymoon with all the juicy details. And strangely enough, even the musical hits were a vehicle for the plot. "I am Cupid, stupid." ()
