Vincent Mandel, photographe, père de famille en instance de divorce, voit sa vie s'effondrer à cause d'une manipulation orchestrée par un ancien camarade de classe, Joseph Plender. The problem with this film lies not in working with a worn-out plot that has been used a hundred times - after all, the motive of hatred and revenge is eternal - it's rather that in an effort to achieve proper effects, it pushes too hard, forgets about logic, and drowns itself in genre clichés. From the escape from the judicial palace, the game that started promisingly becomes an increasingly stronger spasm, burying the decent casting (in some cases going against established role types - see the sympathetic performance of Pierre Richard). Overall impression: 40%.

Un thriller policier moyen avec une intrigue médiocre qui tire horriblement en longueur. Clovis Cornillac m’avait interpellé dans Les Brigades du Tigre, mais depuis, c’est la débâcle. Olga Kurylenko et Pierre Richard sont sympas dans leurs rôles secondaires.
