It is the story of ex-policeman Karl Müller-Seegeberg. The portrait of an opportunist who has served six governments and has proved his “integrity” with all of them. A film construction typical of Kluge, who tries to show how predominance of one virtue paralyzes the other ones. (Huesca International Film Festival)
