Hanna souhaite plus que tout devenir chanteuse. Elle a une merveilleuse voix mais son physique l'empêche de réaliser son rêve. Elle décide alors de "prêter" sa voix à Amy dont l'apparence physique correspond plus aux critères. Hanna tombe amoureuse de Sang-jun, le producteur d'Amy. Mais un jour la jeune fille entend le producteur se moquer d'elle et décide de disparaitre. Après de nombreuses opérations de chirurgie esthétique Hanna est méconnaissable elle décide alors de réaliser son rêve sous le pseudonyme de Jenny. (texte officiel du distributeur)

South Korea has reminded me again why I love their movies. The lead actress made me cry several times... in two cases actually by singing. But she also managed to make me laugh many times... she wasn't afraid to make a fool of herself. The story is one big cliché, but they jumped right in and I feel like this is an original. I'm supremely satisfied and have no issues, hence the 5 stars.

It's almost like the creators know me – everything hurts so much and you can't erase the past. What I mean by that is this: the heroine may be inept, and at certain times she doesn't use her head, but she's not stupid; she hasn't forgotten how she was when she was a few pounds heavier, its kept rotting away inside her (i.e. a friend is more than some show). [MAY CONTAIN A MINOR SPOILER!] Her singing was good. The ending is half Hollywood: so what if you've had like a thousand plastic surgeries... Still, it's not quite the ending you might expect and that some romantic souls will demand (though who knows). [END SPOILER] She was appealing, he was too. A sweet 4 stars :-)
