Eric Poole, jeune homme incarcéré pour le meurtre d'une fille étant adolescent, est remis en liberté à sa majorité. Le détective Cristofuoro est persuadé qu'Eric est en fait un tueur en série qui récidivera dès qu'il en aura l'occasion. A peine sorti de prison, Eric décide de partir en voiture pour Albany. Durant son voyage il va croiser le chemin d'une adolescente en fuite, nommée Lori. Attirée par Eric, Lori décide de rester avec lui. An excellent show. When I look at the reviews here, I wonder what's wrong with me. Tenderness is a quiet yet dramatic story, and what I liked most about it was that I had absolutely no idea what happened and what was going to happen, and most importantly, how it might all end. A perfect Russell Crowe, Jon Foster and Sophie Traub, great music, tension that could be cut, no unnecessary talking (which is a bit strange considering the film was based on a book), so what more could you ask for?
