anglais “In the course of my guard duty an intruder was shot and eliminated!" The Sklep Theatre Company in unfamiliar surroundings perform a rather peculiar adaptation of one of Havel’s works. But they retained the main ingredient - satire above all. Supported by the typical Sklep “slightly different" humor. It’s true that at the beginning it isn’t so accentuated, but from when the play moves from enlisted men to higher ranks, it really gets going. And when Vávra and Hanák come to the fore, it stands to reason that in the end Mlýny was a first-rate success. That makes the lukewarm beginning twice as disappointing. So I give it four (general’s) stars. And they are well-deserved, I tell you. ()

anglais The brilliantly crafted script and fantastic performances made it impossible for me not to give it five stars, although I wasn't all that crazy about the singing and dancing. Anyway, the setting and situation in our people's army was so far-fetched in the play it was practically realistic. I did my military service in the 1990s and it was similarly absurd even then. I will never get some of the scenes out of my head, especially the encounter over the corpse with Ondřej Trojan or David Vávra’s solo performance, I was close to laughing my head off. ()
