Transsibérien

Une tension et une inquiétude soigneusement construites dans un thriller non conventionnel, dans un environnement fortement atmosphérique. Très bien interprété et réalisé. Si le scénario, qui manipule habilement la psychologie des personnages, avait apporté quelque chose d'innovant dans les règles du genre, cela aurait pu valoir 4 étoiles. (08/07/2009)

One clear good thing is the gradually growing chilling atmosphere that permeates the whole film. This is not only due to the engaging cold Siberian landscape, which gives the film the right drive, but also to the slowly escalating story, starting with a major turning point about halfway through, which culminates in a fight for bare life and one brutal torture scene, which I found physically uncomfortable. Thanks to the good performances of the actors, I was interested in the fate of the protagonists, I lived with them and even envied them a bit the initial romance of travelling by train. Brad Anderson has done a good job, though in a slightly different way than others expected (see the reviews here). (05/12/2008)
